How to jump start a car

1. Charge the jump starter fully before you need it.
2. Switch off the car and everything in it (lights, radio, heater).
3. Connect the red clamp to the + battery terminal, then the black clamp to the − terminal or bare metal on the engine.
4. Switch on the jump starter and start the car.
5. Once the engine is running, take off the black clamp first, then the red.

Never let the red and black clamps touch each other.
